CHAMP Camp strives to bring a sense of independence and self-esteem to kids who have been through surgery to correct heart issues. Children and their parents can either choose the overnight camp or a day camp, both with similiar activities. Speaking of activities children get a chance to participate in swimming, horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing and thats just a few of the many things that they can do. The camp and these activites are monitored at all times by nurses to make sure that everyone is safe and happy. A true miracle, CHAMP Camp is sponsered by our office, St. Francis nurses and Healing Hearts. We have to give a special thanks to all the kids for making it so worthwild for us, Debi Lammert who coordinates the whole camp and Dr. Ranne who has been involved in more than one water fight up at the camp.
